Return & Refund Policy

Please read our return policy if you are concerned before placing an order.

  • You may return an item within 7 days of receiving it. As long as it has not been used.

  • You are responsible for the return shipping costs. No shipping costs will be credited to your account.

  • Once the item is received back, you will receive a refund in the amount you paid for the item.

To Return an Item:

- email us at friends@littlemoosefarms.com with your concern. (We will give you our mailing address once you have inquired)

- packaged the items carefully to avoid damage to the product. (If product returns to us damaged, you will not be issued a refund.)

- please include your name, order number, and any other important information you want us to know.

Scent Preferences

The most common reason for a return is that the customer is unhappy with the scent. Sometimes the scent is too strong, sometimes it is not strong enough, and sometimes the scent is not what people expect.

Please keep in mind the following truths about scent:

  • We do our best to accurately describe the soap scents but please realize that everyone will have a difference in interpreting the scent.

  • We do our best to cater to as many people as possible. Some of our soaps are more subtle and others are stronger. Please keep in mind that our soaps are scented with essential oils so our soaps are going to not be as strong smelling as a synthetic soap scent.

  • There will always be some scent variation between batches. We are using droppers and scales (accurate to grams) to measure the scent added. However, we make very small batches and do not possess a commercial set up or computerized equipment. We are as accurate as possible but some batches may smell stronger to you than others.

  • Our product is not defective simply because you may not like the scent.

  • Our ingredient list is fully transparent making it easy to look into what essential oils are being used; in hopes of making your decision on what soap to try as easy as possible.

  • Please keep in mind that we choose our ingredients based on skin benefits and health. We offer three different soap bases that have different ingredients. (Please see individual soap descriptions or the Details tab under soap for more information)

Order Cancellations

If you accidently ordered the wrong scent, please email us right away and we will make the correction on your order so you receive the right scent. Please note: If you email us on Friday, we cannot change the order since that is our weekly ship out day.

Order Error

We work very hard to have your orders shipped with no errors. Despite quality checks, sometimes an error still occurs. If this happens, please take a photo of what soap you received and email it to us with your order number.

You will get to keep the wrong soap you received and we will reship the correct soap you should have received. At no extra cost to you.

Allergic Reactions

We are not held accountable for any allergic reactions that happen with our products. Please take your time and look through the ingredients in our soap, as it is a transparent label. If you experience an allergic reaction to one of our items, please take a photo of the reaction (assuming it is in an appropriate location) and email it to us with your order information and what product caused the allergy. We will work with you to resolve the issue and a refund will be sent to you. Please note: We do not recommend that you buy any more of our products since we can never be truly sure what caused the allergic reaction. And we want you to heal and stay safe too!

Repeat Returns

We reserve the right to no longer accept returns and issue refunds for people who repeatedly order and return items. This will be addressed on an individual basis if it happens to become a problem.

Deny

We reserve the right to deny a customer to purchase our products if they are argumentative and/or rude. Our life is busy enough and we do not want to waste our time or yours.
