Goats

Nigerian Dwarf raw milk is sweeter than cows milk. It has the highest protein and butterfat when compared to all other dairy goat breeds. From goat to goat the percentages will vary from 6 to 10 percent instead of the normal 2 to 6 percent. This makes it the most nutritious for our bodies. It also makes it the best goat milk you can find if you’re interested in making cheese, yogurt, soap, etc. because you will get the most yield out of it. In other words,“The most bang for your buck!”

Nubian raw milk is nicknamed “Cows milk of the goat world.” It is the most similar tasting to cows milk. A good doe can produce a gallon a day and tend to hold steady at 6 percent butterfat making the Nubian the highest of standard size goat breeds.

Goats milk as a whole is always A2/A2

People who have an intolerance to pasteurized milk, tend to be able to handle raw milk just fine because it still possesses the lactase. During the pasteurization process lactase is burned out and lactase helps our bodies to digest lactose. That is why many people think they are lactose intolerant and cannot handle milk at all. Because the milk no longer has lactase.

We feed our milk-does high quality alfalfa hay for the best tasting milk. No “goaty” flavor here!

“Go Bad?” The short answer is raw milk does not actually go bad. The flavor sours. Fresh milk slowly turns into sour milk which will turn into yogurt and then into buttermilk and the list continues. The flavor will be very strong along with smell and that is what repulses people from ingesting it. However, if consumed, the milk will not harm you. Pasteurized milk rots. That is why if it is consumed after the expiration date, people can get very sick from it.

Raw Milk vs Pasteurized Milk. Raw milk is how God made milk to be consumed. The nutritional value of raw milk to the body is immensely more. It possesses bioavailable vitamins, minerals, enzymes, beneficial bacteria, naturally occurring CLA and omega-3 fatty acids. As I stated above, goats milk is easier to digest. However, when raw, it is the easiest to digest.
