Our Farm Story

Hello everyone! We are the Nguyens, husband and wife duo and parents of our two children, Elijah and Sawyer. We are glad you are here.

Our story starts at the top of a mountain in western Montana where we met and God’s plan first unfolded. After a quick detour down south to Georgia for me to finish up an MFA degree, we moved back out to Montana and have been ever since. With the suprise of expecting our first child, I stayed at home creating artwork and taking care of our horses and chickens. Brandon worked at a bison ranch where he learned how to build fence, use heavy equipment, and work the animals.

Once Elijah was born, we started having a desire to be more secure in our food sources. Rising food prices and shortages of inventory can really keep a new family on their toes! That’s when God put the desire in our hearts to start our own farm. So we bought three goats. And three goats quickly turned into five goats which turned into seven goats and now we are holding at a steady 12.

All of this was happening so quickly and neither of us ever owned goats before so we found ourselves diving into research about this intelligent but stubborn animal. We discovered all the benefits of raw goat milk. It is packed with nutritional value for the adult as well as for growing babies. Way more than a cow! And if fed the proper diet, you do not need to worry about that preconceived notion of it having a “goaty” flavor. Not only that, but we found that goat milk is incredible for skin too! It is nourishing and gentle and has been known to help with many skin conditions caused by sensitivities. So we went to work creating our soap. Our goal is to not only create a soap that cleanses on the outside but a true cleansing on the inside by sharing the good news of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

And Little Moose Farms was born!

Proverbs 14:4

“Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.” (NLT)
